More Information

This site is set up in weblog (or 'blog') format. The most recent entries appear first, are grouped by date, and descend in reverse chronological order. Posts are made by multiple site contributors with authors attributed in the byline preceding the post. Commenting and linking is strongly encouraged to generate discussion.

Most entries are meant to be short and highlight information on another website or source with a link to the corresponding site. Excerpted text is usually indented. Pictures are usually linked to their original.

Longer articles usually contain the first paragraph followed by a link to read the entire story.

You may return to the homepage at anytime by clicking on the site logo in the menubar.

Permalinks can be found by clicking on the time after each entry. These allow you to link to specific entries rather than the main page which changes often.

Comments can be read and posted about a particular entry by using the ‘Comments’ link after each post.

Trackbacks — or comments left on another site — can be viewed by clicking on the ‘Trackbacks’ link after each post. Consult your own weblog documentation if you are unfamiliar with how to use this feature with your site.

You may search the entire site for keywords or phrases using the box in the sidebar on the main page.

Posts are archived by category as well as monthly. Click on the links in the sidebar to view the corresponding archive.

Informal polls appear in the sidebar from time to time. They are intended to spark discussion and should not be considered scientific.
